Type USVD Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers have the
very highest precision available in voltage dividers in the range of
450 Volts DC up to 2000 Volts DC. These dividers are formed by
bonding together two selected Type USF Ultra-Precision Resistors. The
precise selection of these high performance resistors, which form the
voltage dividers, makes possible the outstanding voltage division
performance. Ratio Tolerance as tight as 0.01% and Ratio TC of 2ppm/C
.

Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers - 450 Volts to 5 KV
Specifications:
Absolute Tolerance: 0.10% for all resistors,
measured at +23C 2C.
Ratio Tolerance (RT : R2): See table.
Ratio Tolerance measured at +23C 2C,
at 100 volts DC applied to the divider.
Absolute TC: USVD2: 10 ppm/C, HVD5: 30 ppm/C,
referenced to +25C, R taken at -40C and +85C.

Operating Temperature: -40C to +85C
Type HVD Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers are monolithic
voltage dividers built with ceramic sandwich construction. These
voltage dividers have ultra-precision performance in the range of
1500 volts DC to 5000 volts DC, with a Ratio Tolerance of 0.05% and
Ratio TC of 5ppm/C
. These dividers are ideal for high performance
voltage division applications in medical equipment, laboratory equipment,
analytical instruments, etc.

Caddock's Micronox® resistance films are the source of
the Type MG Precision High Voltage Resistors' outstanding
combination of performance features:
Single-resistor values as high as 10,000 Megohms.
Maximum continuous operating voltages as high as
48,000 volts ("-15" ratings).
Overvoltage capabilities of 150% of standard working
voltages for all models and values, (except "-15" ratings).
Resistance Tolerances from ±1.0% to ±0.1%.
Temperature Coefficient, for standard resistance range, of
80 ppm/°C in combination with resistance tolerances as
tight as ±0.1%.
Type MG resistors have demonstrated stability of 0.01%
per 1,000 hours in extended load life testing of standard
resistance range values.
This exceptional performance has been proven through
many years of use in equipment that demands the highest
reliability and stability, including TWT amplifiers, X-ray
systems, geophysical instruments, and medical electronics.
Preconditioning for Power and Voltage Ratings
All power ratings and maximum operating voltage ratings
are for continuous duty. These ratings are based on pre-
stress voltage levels applied during the manufacturing
process to provide for stable resistor performance even
under momentary overload conditions.
Maximum operating voltages 60% higher than the values
listed in the table may be specified by adding "-15" to the
model number (Example: MG750-15). Note that overload
and overvoltage ratings do not apply to the "-15" resistors.
Resistance ranges for "-15" resistors shown in the table are
from "-15 Min." to "Standard Max."
Non-Inductive Performance
Most models are manufactured with Caddock's
Non-Inductive Design which uses a serpentine resistive
pattern that provides for neighboring lines to carry current in
opposite directions, thereby achieving maximum cancellation
of flux fields over the entire length of the resistor. This
efficient non-inductive construction is accomplished without
derating of any performance advantages.

imum continuous operating voltage for 5 seconds

Most models are manufactured with Caddock's
Non-Inductive Design which uses a serpentine resistive
pattern that provides for neighboring lines to carry current in
opposite directions, thereby achieving maximum cancellation

efficient non-inductive construction is accomplished without
derating of any performance advantages.

RHOPOINT COMPONENTS LTD
Type USVD Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers have the
very highest precision available in voltage dividers in the range of
450 Volts DC up to 2000 Volts DC. These dividers are formed by
bonding together two selected Type USF Ultra-Precision Resistors. The
precise selection of these high performance resistors, which form the
voltage dividers, makes possible the outstanding voltage division
performance. Ratio Tolerance as tight as 0.01% and Ratio TC of 2ppm/C
.

Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers - 450 Volts to 5 KV
Specifications:
Absolute Tolerance: 0.10% for all resistors,
measured at +23C 2C.
Ratio Tolerance (RT : R2): See table.
Ratio Tolerance measured at +23C 2C,
at 100 volts DC applied to the divider.
Absolute TC: USVD2: 10 ppm/C, HVD5: 30 ppm/C,
referenced to +25C, R taken at -40C and +85C.
Ratio Temperature Coefficient (RT : R2): See table.
Ratio Temperature Coefficient from -40C to +85C.
Ratio Voltage Coefficient (RT : R2): See table.
Maximum Ratio V.C. measured at 10% of Vmax.
to 100% of Vmax.
Voltage Rating: Maximum voltage (volts DC)
applied to RT = (R1 + R2). See table.
Load Life Stability: Ratio stability with maximum
continuous operating voltage applied to the divider
for 1000 hours at +85C, ratio change 0.02% max.
Overvoltage: 1.5 times rated voltage for 5 seconds,
ratio change 0.02% max.
Thermal Shock: Mil-Std-202. Method 107, Cond. A,
except minimum temperature is -40C, ratio change
0.02% max.
Operating Temperature: -40C to +85C
Type HVD Ultra-Precision Voltage Dividers are monolithic
voltage dividers built with ceramic sandwich construction. These
voltage dividers have ultra-precision performance in the range of
1500 volts DC to 5000 volts DC, with a Ratio Tolerance of 0.05% and
Ratio TC of 5ppm/C
. These dividers are ideal for high performance
voltage division applications in medical equipment, laboratory equipment,
analytical instruments, etc.
